What is Study India?


Study India is a three week summer programme that gives UK undergraduate students the opportunity to experience India first hand. The programme runs in Mumbai and Delhi, and offers a mix of language and culture classes, lectures on Indian history and commerce and visits to cultural and historic sites.

It is taking place from Saturday 14 August to Saturday 4 September 2010.

Am I eligible to apply?
If you are a current undergraduate student at a UK university in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales you are eligible to apply. Read the eligibility criteria in full.

How do I apply?
Entry onto Study India is by competitive application, with 200 places available. Find out how to apply and complete both the online application form and reference form by 5pm on Wednesday 17 March. Please read the selection criteria carefully.

How much does it cost?
Participants accepted onto the programme will need to cover the cost of their airfare, visa, and vaccination plus spending money. Study India covers the cost of the programme, accommodation and meals. Find out more about cost.

Study India is organised by King's College London's Centre for Indian Cultures and the University of Birmingham's International Office and is funded by the UK India Education and Research Initiative. Our partners in India are the H.R. College in Mumbai and the University of New Delhi.
